The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Associated Industrial Services Occupations – Passive Fire Protection qualification has been developed for delivery in a working environment; this means you need to be employed to study this qualification.

About this qualification

It has been designed to develop and recognise your skills, knowledge and competence so that you can work in Passive Fire Protection within the construction industry or progress onto further learning. This NVQ qualification requires candidates to demonstrate, in a real workplace environment, competence against a set of performance statements. Assessment will be carried out by an occupationally competent and qualified assessor.

What could this qualification lead to?

Upon completion you can apply to CSCS, or other industry card schemes, to gain a recognised skills card. If you wish to progress further in construction, you may wish to study any of the following qualifications:
