This practical course provides essential training in the safe use of Cable Avoidance Tools (CAT) and signal generators (Genny) to help identify underground cables and services before excavation or groundworks begin.
Learners will gain an understanding of the risks associated with underground services, how to correctly operate CAT & Genny equipment, and the importance of safe working practices to reduce the risk of damaging buried utilities and causing serious injury or disruption.
