About this course

A multi channel marketing apprentice is a full-time member of staff focused on helping the business with their digital marketing requirements by receiving structured on and off the job training as part of their Level 3 apprenticeship. The on and off the job training provided by 1st2 Achieve Training will be designed to fit your individual company and apprentices’ needs and our industry experts will work with you to tailor a bespoke curriculum plan that will ensure we meet your organisational needs. The apprenticeship length is typically 18 months. (15 months Training and 3 months Gateway and EPA)

The primary role of a multi channel marketer is to define, design, build and implement digital campaigns across a variety of online and social media platforms to drive customer acquisition, customer engagement and customer retention.

Course Summary

The Level 3 Multi Channel Marketing Apprenticeship has been designed to equip the apprentice with skills to design, build and implement digital marketing campaigns across the web and different social media channels.

Included within the training is an introduction to marketing theory, different social media platforms, use of practical industry-standard tools such as Google Analytics and programming for the web. Our learner-centric approach to delivery combines blended learning with online classroom sessions, webinars, 1 to 1 tutor support, workplace visits and independent study.

​On this programme, an apprentice is required to evidence the following from the workplace:

  • Participating in the planning, creation, and analysis of marketing projects
  • Using digital tools to achieve marketing objectives
  • Using a range of online communication platforms
  • Using digital tools to review, monitor and analyse online customer activity
  • Responding to customer enquiries online and via social media
  • Website optimisation
  • Problem solving on digital platforms
  • Campaign reporting and data analysis.

  • Knowledge Module 3: Digital Marketing Business Principles.
  • Google Analytics Individual Qualification (IQ)

Entry Requirements

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • The learner must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
