This insulation training NVQ is for those who work with different types of insulation and building treatments and want to prove their competence in the following areas: Room in Roof, Park Homes, Hybrid Wall, Insulating Framed Sections of Buildings, External Wall Insulation Boarder, External Wall Insulation Finisher, ETC.
An NVQ in Insulation and Building Treatments is official recognition of the knowledge and skills needed to install insulation or carry out building maintenance work. You can chose from a range of qualifications to match your particular specialism such as external wall insulation or different types of floor insulation.

What to expect during your course
Those who take this NVQ Level 3 in Construction Contracting Operations must complete six mandatory units, plus a minimum of one optional unit for Pathways 1, 2, and 5, two optional units for Pathway 4, and three optional units for Pathway 7.
Duration
This can be completed in 4 to 8 weeks as long as you are prepared to work with your assessor and gather the correct evidence. Once completed you will receive your NVQ diploma which is approved by CITB.
Progression
At the end of the NVQ Level 3 in Painting and Decorating course, candidates will be able to demonstrate advanced skills in a number of areas including applying paint, installing coving and producing paint effects.
