Overview

The aim of this qualification is to confirm that the candidate has the skills and knowledge to install Curtain Wall systems on site.

About

It is not expected that all curtain wall installers will carry out identical tasks as there are many variations in system types and installation environments so the qualification had been developed to allow as wide an uptake as possible.
All of the work needs to be completed in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and health and safety guidelines.

What could this qualification lead to?

Upon completion you can apply to CSCS, or other industry card schemes, to gain a recognised skills card. If you wish to progress further in construction, you may wish to study any of the following qualifications:

  • Level 3 NVQ Certificate in Curtain Wall
