APPRENTICESHIP TUTOR

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm 

Wage: £25,000 - £28,000 annual salary

About the Role

As demand for our services grows, this is your chance to join a company passionate about developing people. This opportunity is a great chance to join an independently owned small independent training provider based in the north-west.

Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Trainer/tutor for Apprenticeships and short courses - specifically with knowledge of a broad spread of standards to join our team and deliver these qualifications:

  • Business Administrator Level 3 Standard

  • Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Standard

  • Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Standard

  • Team Leader/Supervisor Level 3 Standard

In this role, you will use your expertise in the field to deliver first-class training and assessment to enthusiastic learners. As a Trainer/tutor for Apprenticeships and short courses, you will have plenty of freedom and the autonomy to plan your own diary. As you will be managed remotely, we are looking for professionals who can deliver training and assessment to apprentices and commercial clients without being micro-managed. You will work alongside a professional team of back-office support.

Requirements

The applicant for this position must 

  • Have extensive previous Trainer/Tutor experience

  • Have the ability and occupational competence to deliver multiple apprenticeship standards.

  • Knowledge of Assessment Practice, Market/Industry and Commercial/Business Awareness

  • Outstanding Communication, Planning/Organisation, and People Management Skills

  • Be Flexible, Self-Motivated, and Approachable

  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent

  • Level 4 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (preferred)

  • A Level 3 Teaching Qualification or equivalent

  • Minimum of Level 2 Functional Skills or equivalent in maths, ICT and English

  • Robust knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and Equality and Diversity

  • E-portfolio experience

  • A desire to build an innovative curriculum that supports the quality of education delivered by 1st2 Achieve Training.

  • An enthusiasm for and background in client-facing roles
