Course Requirements Students should have a basic knowledge of skin anatomy and physiology, if you do not have this please let us know when booking the course. Course Overview This course is designed to teach you the fundamentals of dermaplaning, a skin treatment technique used to exfoliate and remove dead skin cells and vellus hair (peach fuzz) from the face. You will learn the proper techniques for using a surgical scalpel to safely and effectively remove unwanted hair and debris from the skin, resulting in a smoother, brighter complexion. Course Objectives - Introduction to dermaplaning and its benefits. - Anatomy and physiology of the skin. - Skin analysis and consultation techniques. - Safety and sanitation protocols. - Proper use and handling of surgical scalpels. - Techniques for dermaplaning the face and neck. - Aftercare instructions for clients. - Troubleshooting common issues. Course Delivery The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice injection techniques on mannequins and live models. Participants will also receive a course manual with detailed information. Assessment Assessment for the course will be based on both theoretical and practical components. Theoretical assessment will be based on quizzes and assignments, while practical assessment will be based on a final practical exam. A passing grade of 70% is required to successfully complete the course. Duration of Course The course will be conducted over a period of 1 day. Qualifications You will achieve a qualification upon completion of the course which will allow you to become insured in providing Dermaplaning services.

Cancellation Policy

All of our courses are non-refundable from the moment you pay. This is due to the confirmation email being sent over to you as soon as you have booked/paid. You must cancel before 14 days of the course start date if they are a classroom course. If you do not attend and do not cancel, this will result in 100% of the course fee charged. If you can provide a medical certificate or evidence can be provided the course can then transferred to a new date. 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd is under no obligation to refund any fees paid. Any other refunds will be at the discretion of 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd.
