Course Overview This manicure certificate course is designed to teach you the fundamental knowledge and skills needed to provide a professional manicure service. The course covers topics such as nail anatomy, sanitation and safety, nail shaping and filing, cuticle care, polish application, and massage techniques. You will gain hands-on experience through practice sessions and demonstrations, and learn how to work with different nail shapes and types, as well as how to identify and address common nail and skin problems. Course Objectives - Understand the basic anatomy of the nails and the surrounding skin, and how to properly care for them. - Recognise common nail and skin conditions, and how to address them during a manicure service. - Demonstrate proper sanitation and safety procedures, including sterilisation of tools and equipment. - Master techniques for shaping and filing nails, as well as for pushing back and removing cuticles. - Apply nail polish and other nail decorations with precision and skill. - Perform hand and arm massage techniques that promote relaxation and improve circulation. - Understand the importance of good customer service and professionalism in the beauty industry. Course Delivery You can expect to participate in hands-on training, complete theory work, and take practical exams to demonstrate an understanding and mastery of the course content. Assessment Assessment for the course will be based on both theoretical and practical components. Theoretical assessment will be based on quizzes and assignments, while practical assessment will be based on a final practical exam. A passing grade of 70% is required to successfully complete the course. Duration of Course Typically, the course takes 2 days. Qualifications You will achieve a CPD qualification upon completion of the course which will allow you to become insured in providing Manicure services.

Cancellation Policy

All of our courses are non-refundable from the moment you pay. This is due to the confirmation email being sent over to you as soon as you have booked/paid. You must cancel before 14 days of the course start date if they are a classroom course. If you do not attend and do not cancel, this will result in 100% of the course fee charged. If you can provide a medical certificate or evidence can be provided the course can then transferred to a new date. 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd is under no obligation to refund any fees paid. Any other refunds will be at the discretion of 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd.
