Course Overview The sculptured acrylic nail course is designed to teach students how to create beautiful and durable artificial nails using acrylic powder and liquid. This course will cover the fundamental techniques needed to apply acrylic to create a sculptured nail that mimics the natural nail. This course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn how to create artificial nails. Course Objectives - Understand the basics of sculptured acrylic nails, including the different types of acrylics, tools, and techniques used in the application process. - Develop an understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the natural nail, including how it grows and how to properly prepare it for acrylic application. - Master the skills required to apply acrylic to create a sculptured nail that mimics the natural nail, including mixing and sculpting techniques, use of forms, filing, shaping, and finishing techniques. - Learn how to maintain and repair acrylic nails, including how to fill, re-balance, and repair damaged nails. - Develop an understanding of health and safety practices in the nail industry, including proper handling and use of acrylic products, as well as preventing and managing skin and nail infections. - Gain practical experience and confidence in applying sculptured acrylic nails through hands-on projects and assignments. - Demonstrate proficiency in the application of sculptured acrylic nails through an assessment. Course Delivery You can expect to participate in hands-on training, complete theory work, and take practical exams to demonstrate an understanding and mastery of the course content. Assessment Assessment for the course will be based on both theoretical and practical components. Theoretical assessment will be based on quizzes and assignments, while practical assessment will be based on a final practical exam. A passing grade of 70% is required to successfully complete the course. Duration of Course Typically, the course takes 1 day. Qualifications You will achieve a CPD qualification upon completion of the course which will allow you to become insured in providing Sculptured Acrylic services.

Cancellation Policy

All of our courses are non-refundable from the moment you pay. This is due to the confirmation email being sent over to you as soon as you have booked/paid. You must cancel before 14 days of the course start date if they are a classroom course. If you do not attend and do not cancel, this will result in 100% of the course fee charged. If you can provide a medical certificate or evidence can be provided the course can then transferred to a new date. 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd is under no obligation to refund any fees paid. Any other refunds will be at the discretion of 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd.
