Course Overview The Swedish Neck and Shoulder Massage course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the techniques and benefits of massage therapy for the neck and shoulder region. This course covers various massage techniques that aim to relieve tension and promote relaxation in these specific areas of the body. Course Objectives - Understand the anatomy and physiology of the neck and shoulder region. - Learn the benefits and contraindications of Swedish Neck and Shoulder Massage. - Develop effective communication skills with clients, including consultation, assessment, and informed consent. - Acquire and apply basic Swedish massage techniques, including effleurage, petrissage, friction, and tapotement to the neck and shoulder region. - Integrate essential oils and aromatherapy into massage therapy sessions. - Learn self-care techniques and stress management strategies for massage therapists. Course Delivery The course will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to practice on mannequins and live models. Participants will also receive a course manual with detailed information. Assessment Assessment for the course will be based on both theoretical and practical components. Theoretical assessment will be based on quizzes and assignments, while practical assessment will be based on a final practical exam. A passing grade of 70% is required to successfully complete the course. Duration of Course The course will be conducted over a period of 1 day. Qualifications You will achieve a certificate upon completion of the course which will allow you to become insured in providing Swedish Neck and Shoulders Massage services.

Cancellation Policy

All of our courses are non-refundable from the moment you pay. This is due to the confirmation email being sent over to you as soon as you have booked/paid. You must cancel before 14 days of the course start date if they are a classroom course. If you do not attend and do not cancel, this will result in 100% of the course fee charged. If you can provide a medical certificate or evidence can be provided the course can then transferred to a new date. 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd is under no obligation to refund any fees paid. Any other refunds will be at the discretion of 1st2 Achieve Training Ltd.
